I had an issue with a flooded access road due to a beaver dam. I knew little to nothing about beavers and their habitat. I got Kevin’s name from the Worth a Dam foundation in Martinez. He is very knowledgable about beavers and was super helpful in getting our flow device installed. I have learned so much from him. I would definitely recommend him!! Michelle Rogers, Environmental Engineer, Phillips 66.

I recommend that anyone in CA dealing with a beaver issue contact Kevin at Swift Water Designs. He has helped me install water control devices to resolve beaver damming problems with roads and other human infrastructure here in New England. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He is also part of a team developing and installing innovative salmon passage projects at beaver dams in northern CA. If successful, these ground-breaking projects could be replicated on salmon streams anywhere beaver build problematic dams to dramatically help restore salmon and coexist with beaver populations. Salmon and beaver are both Keystone species and we critically need more of both for healthier watersheds.  Mike Callahan, Owner, Beaver Solutions LLC  Southampton, MA www.beaversolutions.com

“Kevin designed and installed a manageable graywater system for me and showed me how to keep it up and running. I’m relieved and gratified to know I am not wasting water, and I’m happy to recommend Kevin to help you save water, too.”

Elizabeth H—Graton, California

“We had a dysfunctional greywater system we’d been meaning to upgrade for years. Kevin was able to quickly read the landscape and figure out a simple yet multifunctional system that met the diverse needs of our perennial garden. His services embody his surname- swift, affordable and ecologically literate.”
